Alpha 31: Bugfix Release


🪲 Bugfixes

I fixed some bugs since version 0.0.30.

Fixes in this version:

  • enemies(orb): behave correctly when dashing
  • barrel: fix a bug where the barrel wouldn’t spawn a coin
  • upgrades: fix bug where experience wasn’t reset when restarting
  • enemies: increase avoidance radius for navigation
  • translations(de): rename Etappe -> Runde
  • terminal: fix German translation for “BUY”

Other Changes

  • Added scaffolding for new enemies
  • Godot upgrade 4.3 -> 4.4.1
  • Refactoring of enemies (internally)

Changes between versions 0.0.21 and 0.0.30

I realized that I hadn’t written any dev logs since Alpha 21 😱

  • ui: no more flickering of time left
  • processing: always process damage audio
  • upgrades: grab focus with card under cursor
  • upgrades(health): max, regen speed, and regen amount
  • addons: upgrade
  • upgrades(dynamite): add damage and recharge upgrades
  • music: do not start before entering main menu
  • skill(shotgun): extract particles to spawn faster than emission time
  • upgrades: working shotgun fire rate upgrade
  • upgrades: add shotgun firerate
  • music: switch to interactive music player
  • ui: fix icons
  • music: initial switch to interactive
  • pause: allow access to settings when game is paused
  • terminal: no longer allow access from anywhere on stage
  • input: no longer close pause menu immediately after opening it
  • orb: orb now moves and gets knocked back as intended
  • settings: default music quieter/pickups louder
  • controller: Change input mapping to be more intuitive/market
